<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">I made this cute bunny treat box using the "Spring Critter Huggers" dies from Lawn Fawn. I used the original dies and added a few simple things to make a treat basket where you can place candy or goodies inside. Here's a video of the process. I hope you enjoy it!
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I started by cutting a panel of 110 lb. Kraft<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;"> card stock<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">. Then I made some splatters with some "Vintage Photo" Distress Oxide ink, "Tarnished Brass" Distress Paint, and some "White" acrylic paint. I used an acrylic block and a paintbrush to create the splatters.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">After the paint had dried, I cut some sand dunes with Lawn Fawn "Stitched Hillside Borders" die.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">On a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth 110 lb. card stock, I used a "Drifts and Hills" stencil from My Favorite Things to create waves. I used my Ranger rounded ink blending tool to ink up the stencil with "Salty Ocean" and "Peacock Feathers" Distress Oxide inks.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Then I used a brush from Momenta to lightly ink the sky with "Salty Ocean" Distress Oxide ink.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I didn't have a surfboard stamp or die, so I created my own surfboard by tracing and cutting out the shape out of some white card stock. I added the word "Aloha" with the Concord & 9th "Perfectly Penned" stamp set and some Lawn Fawn "Mermaid" ink. Then I inked up the edges of the surfboard with some "Antique Linen" Distress ink and a mini ink dauber to make it look aged and rugged. I also cut out some strips of blue and turquoise card stock and adhered them to my surfboard.
It's Lisa here with another card to share with you. For today's project I was inspired by a card made by the awesome Chari Moss. She created a beautiful crayon box using Lawn Fawn's "Shadow Box Card" die. You can see her project here.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Since I don't have the specific die she used, I used Lawn Fawn's "Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up" die and modified it.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I started by die cutting the Lawn Fawn "Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up" twice from yellow card stock. <span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I trimmed the top flaps from the box and left only the bottom part to assemble the box.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Out of one of the panels I traced a line using Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Hillside Borders" and cut it out with my scissors.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Since I was die cutting, I also die cut 2 inserts for the inside of my box.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I adhered the crayons to the box inserts using Lawn Fawn liquid glue.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Then I used Lawn Fawn's "1/4 inch Double-sided tape" to adhere the inserts to the box card. This double sided tape is very strong and holds very well. <span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">To create the lines on the front of the card, I cut out some strips out of 2 tones of green card stock and traced some lines on the yellow panel to know more or less where to place my pieces of green card stock.
<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I needed something for the focal point of the card, so I decided to add the age of the recipient of the card. She's turning 34, so I used Lawn Fawn's "Finley's 123s"
It's Lisa here with another card and crafty video. Today I created a birthday card using the "Modern Mandala" die from Pink Fresh Studio and some Distress Oxide inks.
<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">I started this card by tracing the mandala die onto some white cardstock in order to have a guide as to where to place my colors. Then I ink blended some Ranger "Distress Oxide" inks in rainbow colors in a circular pattern. At first it looks like a mess but trust me that once you glue the mandala die cut, it looks MUCH better.
<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">Then I die cut a circle slightly smaller than the mandala die cut piece using We R Memory Keepers "Nesting Circle Dies". I used my heat tool to speed up the ink drying process. I sprayed some "Sheer Shimmer Spritz" sparkle from Imagine Crafts and dried it with my heat tool again. You can barely see the shimmer in the video, but believe me that it sparkles.

<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">After that, I glued the white mandala die cut to my inked circle using some Ranger "Multi Medium Matte" adhesive. Then on a strip of white cardstock I stamped the Simon Says Stamp "CZ Simple Sentiments 2" with some Ranger "Archival" ink. I adhered the sentiment strip with some double-sided foam strips.

<span style="color: #3d85c6; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">To finish off the card, I adhered this piece onto some light blue cardstock using Gina K "Connect Glue". It's Lisa here with a new card and my first crafty video. It's been over a year since my last blog post, but one of my 2019 resolutions is to post at least once every 2 or 3 months. We'll see how that goes! 🙌

<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Today I made a shaker card. I started with a square piece of blue striped patterned paper. I die cut a heart in the center using Lawn Fawn's "Heart Stackables". Then I adhered a slightly smaller piece of acetate on the back. Still on the back of the card, I outlined the heart shape with some Darice double sided adhesive strips to create the well for my sequins. (This tape is the best for creating shaker cards. ❤ It's so easy to bend and shape into the space you need.) I also added strips of that same foam tape around the corner edges of the card. Then I filled the heart well with blue sequins. Since I wanted to fill the area with sequins and not show a lot of white space, I added A LOT of sequins. After I was happy with the amount, I took a square card base and placed it on top to close the shaker card.
<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment you make me from Altenew's "Halftone Smile" stamp set with some Lawn Fawn mermaid ink. I also stamped and die cut the happy sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "Happy Happy Happy" stamp set with the same ink. I adhered the happy sentiment with Ranger's Multi Medium Matte and the you make me sentiment strip I propped up with some 3D foam squares.
<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #45818e; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Here's a short video of the process of making this card. 👍
It's been a while since I don't post on my blog. It's been an interesting month and a half after Hurricane Maria. Thankfully we have water every day and electricity almost every day. Two weeks ago our Internet service provider finally fixed the lines, so I have been catching up on all the cardmaking inspiration in all the blogs and on Instagram.
I don't have any from the 2010 release, but my oldest sets are from the 2011 release. For today's challenge, I'm using "Plus One" and "Smitty's ABCs" stamp sets. I combined these old sets with the 2017 "Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up" die.
I assembled the card and folded out 3 of the sides.
<span style="color: #e06666; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">
<span style="color: #e06666; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">On the outside of the card, I stamped and die cut the oven from the "Plus One" stamp set and colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some shimmer with the Spectrum Noir sparkle pen and a little Glossy Accents for the tiny cupcake.
<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #e06666; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I also cut out the white frame out of some Neenah white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment with some Hippo ink and the tiny hearts with Wild Rose ink.
<span style="color: #351c75; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">Hello there! It's Lisa here with another graduation card. This time I decided to do a shaker card. I started off with a 4.25 x 5.5" piece of gray cardstock. I die cut a circle in the center and glued a piece of acetate behind it.

I stamped and colored a cap and diploma from Sunny Studio Stamps "Woo Hoo" stamp set and fussy cut them. I also added the happy graduation sentiment to the front of the card.

<span style="color: #351c75; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">Then I cut a piece of white fun foam slightly smaller than the gray cardstock and die cut the same size circle in the center to match my gray cardstock. I glued the piece of fun foam to the back of the gray carstock to add some dimension.

<span style="color: #351c75; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #351c75; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">I made a cardbase out of Neenah 110 lb. white cardstock and I stamped the Woo Hoo sentiment in the center, making sure to line it up with the die cut circle in the gray cardstock. I then glued a couple of sequins in place so that they will be visible all the time, even when shaking the card. I used a blue holographic 5mm sequin mix and some silver stars.

<span style="color: #351c75; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Here's a look at the card I made:

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">For the front of the card, I used Lawn Fawn's "Let's Polka in the Meadow" petite paper pack, the black and white hearts patterned paper.

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I then stamped a hot air balloon from Lawn Fawn's "Blue Skies" stamp set with Archival black ink on a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. I used this paper because it blends the "Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens" beautifully. I colored the image in bright rainbow colors. I added some shimmer with a Spectrum Noir clear shimmer pen.

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I used the coordinating die to cut the image. <span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I added a graduation cap from Sunny Studio Stamps called "Woo Hoo". Here is a close up of the hot air balloon with the graduation cap. You can see the beautiful shimmer.

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I adhered the balloon with some foam tape to add some dimension.

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">To finish the card, <span style="color: #0b5394; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I used a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "Blue Skies" stamp set and added it to the top of the card. At the bottom of the card, I stamped a sentiment from Lawn Fawn's "Happy, Happy, Happy" stamp set.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Today I'm sharing a card I made for my brother and sister-in-law who are expecting a baby real soon. I also submitted this card for Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #3 called <span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Outstanding Occasions<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">. The challenge is to make a card about a special occasion such as anniversaries, weddings, new babies or graduations.
<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Here's a look at the card I made:

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: small;">(Baby Card Front)

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: small;">

<span style="color: #6aa84f; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , sans-serif; font-size: small;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">To create this card, I first cut a piece of Neenah white 110 lb. cardstock with Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Rectangle" dies. Then I embossed that piece with the "Pinwheels" embossing folder by Sizzix.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I then die cut a piece of green cardstock with Lawn Fawn's "Grassy Border" die and then with the "Stitched Rectangle" dies to give it a continuous stitched look. I then heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger's white embossing powder. <span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I adhered the grass to the white panel.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I then stamped a baby mobile from Lawn Fawn's "Plus One" stamp set and colored it with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I put some Spectrum Noir clear shimmer pen over the moon and stars and then cover them in Glossy Accents. I set them aside to dry.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I adhered the white panel to some yellow patterned paper using some fun foam to add some dimension. After it was dry, I glued the baby mobile with some foam tape to add a little more dimension. To finish the card front, I adhered everything to a top folding 5.5" x 4.25" white card base.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">On the inside of the card I cut a circle out of some purple glitter paper and adhered it to the center. Then I stamped and colored a stork from the "Plus One" stamp set and adhered it. I also die cut a congratulations sentiment from Spellbinders' "Sentiments One" dies and adhered it to the circle.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Hello and welcome to my blog! ❤ My name is Lisa and I love to make cards for my family and friends.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I started cardmaking about 4+ years ago. A friend of mine invited me to a cardmaking workshop and I went. The person giving the workshop was a Stampin' Up demonstrator and when she showed me the catalog with all the products, I immediately fell in love with all the stamps and dies. There I was introduced to the Sizzix "Big Shot" machine and was amazed at all the things you could do with it. A year later my husband bought me the Big Shot for Christmas. BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER!

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">I have learned a lot about the cardmaking community these past 4 years by watching YouTube videos and reading lots of blogs. I enjoy visiting blogs such as Lawn Fawn, Simon Says Stamp, Hero Arts, Jennifer McGuire, and so many others.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">Last year I started my official Instagram page and I thought it was about time to begin a blog as well. You can visit my Instagram page here.

<span style="color: #38761d; font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif;">If you like my cards, feel free to leave some love on the page. Thank you for reading my first blog post and see you again next time! ☺
